Confidentiality
All sessions are confidential unless I believe you are at risk of harming yourself or others or if I believe that you are at risk of harm from others. In these circumstances, disclosure is required by law. I will always try to inform you of a
breach of confidentiality before it happens.
Sessions
All sessions are 50 mins and are pre-bookable online.
I will send you a link so you can view my availability online and book in at a time to suit you.
Please try to arrive for your session on time otherwise your session will be shorter than expected. If you are running late, please call or send a text as soon as possible as I may assume you are not attending.
Payments
I use a secure online payment service provider that accepts credit and debit cards. Payment can be made at the point of booking, at least 24 hrs before the session.
Cancellations
There is a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cannot attend a session then a fee will apply, unless you give me at least 24 hours notice by email or text message.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, then the full session fee is still payable.
Although I will try my best to accommodate requested changes, it is not
always possible, and a fee will be charged for a missed session.
If I have to cancel a session, I will aim to give as much notice as possible.
Session notes & Supervision
I have a legal obligation to write notes after each session. These notes are brief
and do not include names or personal details that can identify the client but cover the main themes of the session and any actions taken. At the first session, I will give you a copy of my Privacy Policy, so you understand my data collection and storage plus your data rights.
I attend regular supervision to ensure that I work ethically and to the best of my ability under such guidance by counselling professionals.
