Although Being LGBTQ+ doesn’t automatically mean you will have mental health issues, it may mean you’re at higher risk of experiencing poor mental health.
A study by Stonewall found that:
- half of LGBTQ+ people had experienced depression, and three in five had experienced anxiety.
- one in eight LGBTQ+ people aged 18 to 24 had attempted to end their life
The truth is, you don’t have to be alone in your dark places, there is hope.
